A http client for (API) testing & exploration is part of every engineers toolbox. Over the last years, Postman is the de-facto default choice for many. Despite Postmans intuitive UX on first sight, further capabilities are quite limited, especially when dealing with extended collections and request journeys. In addition, postman cloud usage and a paid subscription are more and more enforced recently. But what if there was a true alternative to bring back focus to the engineers tool? In this talk I'll cover my journey for the right tool for the right job!
